Yes its true a burnout thats all is required to ram down the gates of paradise........

The burnout series has never failed to get my get my jaw sagging and mouth wide open!!!!Wwell thats the best description i can give for Burnout series....In one line "Out of the Gaming World".

The paradise version will be launched on the ps3 platform and the Xbox 360.A glimpse of the game can be seen below:



While none of the famed 'Burnout' car crashes are featured in the trailer, EA says 'Burnout Paradise' promises a truly Gen-Next game play with the most explosive pile-ups in the history of the franchise.

According to EA, this is more so because 'Burnout Paradise' sports an open world environment, giving gamers license to roam about 'Paradise City' at will, embark on a destruction spree with their cars, and earn points along the way - only to get their hands on leaner, meaner machines, capable of inflicting worser damage.

"We have been working towards 'Burnout Paradise' for quite some time. Next generation consoles have opened up a raft of new gameplay opportunities, and the Criterion team has leapt at the chance to innovate," said Executive Producer of 'Burnout Paradise,' Pete Hawley

Hawley has promised some 'big surprises' in terms of new features and online capabilities, but says the new title's game play will remain true to the essence of 'Burnout'.

Need for speed pro street

So its almost time for us to gear up for a new version for NFS(need for street) code named
NFS-Pro street.This game has a package of awesome graphics, new and improved cars, crazy races and last but not the least ballz aching chics!!!!!!
But a sad news for those who plan to cling to their old ps2s the game hasn't been planned to be released for your platform. Its available in the super cool ps3 and the likely rival of ps2 - the xbox 360........

Finally Blu Ray DRM Defeated!!!

The copy protection technology used by Blu-ray discs has been cracked by the same hacker who broke the DRM technology of rival HD DVD discs last month. The coder known as muslix64 used much the same plain text attack in both cases. By reading a key held in memory by a player playing a HD DVD disc he was able to decrypt the movie been played and render it as an MPEG 2 file.

The latest Blu-ray hack was performed by muslix64 using a media file provided by Janvitos, through the video resource site Doom9, and applied to a Blu-ray copy of the movie Lord of War. In this case, muslix64 didn't even need access to a Blu-ray player to nobble the DRM protection included on the title.
Both HD DVD and Blu-ray use HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) for playback display authentication and similar implementations of AACS (Advanced Access Content System) for content encryption.

The hack sidesteps, rather than defeats, the AACS encryption used as part of the content protection technology used by both next-generation DVD formats. The approach relies on obtaining a particular movie's unique "key" and can't therefore be trivially replicated to rip content across all titles encoded via a particular format, as tools like DVD Decryptor make easy with standard DVD titles.

muslix64 has however posted a 18KB tool that allows other to try their hand at extracting the keys of other Blu-ray Disc movies

BD+, the second type of content protection on Blu-ray, is yet to fall by crackers but this is something of a moot point today as the technology is yet to be widely applied on discs.

Blu-ray and HD DVD both allow for decryption keys to be updated in reaction to attacks, for example by making it impossible to play high-definition movies via playback software known to be weak or flawed. So muslix64 work has effectively sparked off a cat-and-mouse game between hackers and the entertainment industry, where consumers are likely to face compatibility problems while footing the bill for the entertainment industry's insistence on pushing ultimately flawed DRM technology on an unwilling public.

XHTML/CSS Rendering In Swing

Flying Saucer is an XHTML/CSS renderer written in pure Java that can be easily embedded in Swing applications. The latest version, R7, is quite impressive. The support for XHTML and CSS 2.1 is great and the rendering very fast. I was particularly surprised by the quality of the rendering of filthyrichclients.org, which caused many troubles to IE, Firefox and Safari:

Flying Saucer can do much more, like PDF and SVG rendering. While it would be foolish to write a full-fledged web browser upon this library, this project is extremely interesting and useful for regular desktop applications. Writing help screens or even complicated layouts becomes so much easier with Flying Saucer. The ability to embed any Swing component within a web page leads to countless wonderful user interfaces.
